If you’ve been in Nashville for more than 24 hours, you have surely seen something from Bongo Java around town. No matter which side of the river you’re on, you’ll find a Bongo Java spot somewhere nearby serving up fresh coffee, baked treats, and more.
If you’re looking for breakfast or lunch, stop in Bongo Java on Belmont Blvd. Located next to Proper Bagel and across the way from House Of, Bongo Java has a great porch and spacious inside for a meal or afternoon of work. On the East Side, visit its counterpart in Five Points, Bongo East. Both locations serve up seriously delicious bagel bombs – egg and cheese, BLT, salmon and cream cheese, veggie and hummus, and the list goes on. The menus also have a host of other options, from oatmeal to salads to grilled cheese (with pesto – yum!).
Known for their coffee, try their assortment of roasts made here in town or venture to their seasonal drink menu that features twists on your traditional coffee shop offerings. Their signature drink menu changes with the weather, so you’ll find flavors of lavender, grapefruit, and jasmine in the spring/summer then pumpkin and cinnamon in the fall/winter. You can also visit the source of all things Bongo Java coffee at their roasting facility here in town and get a tour of how their coffee is created!
You’ll find Bongo Bakery goodies at both Bongo Java locations (plus at their close cousin, Fido). The cookies are just about the size of your face! The oatmeal chocolate chip is one of our favorite cookies in town. The muffins are also tasty, with gluten-free options available. Try the sweet potato white chocolate or Vegan beet muffin next time you’re grabbing food on the go!
No matter what you’re looking for in a coffee shop, Bongo Java has you covered all around town!
