Provence Breads & Cafe

Provence Nashville

Provence Breads & Cafe is another favorite Hillsboro Village mainstay. This French-inspired bakery and cafe is the perfect spot for a quick bite, cup of coffee, or to pick up a cake for a special occasion.

scrambled eggs & roasted potatoes

Right inside the door, you’ll see a menu board with made-to-order items and a glass case with pre-made options. On the made-to-order menu, you’ll see a variety of breakfast and lunch items. One of our breakfast favorites is the scrambled eggs with chive and Noble Farms goat cheese, red potatoes, and toast of your choosing (we’re fans of their cranberry walnut!). Simple, filling, and delicious! On the lunch side, try the crepes – on our last visit, we had crepes stuffed with ricotta and smoked salmon atop a bed of greens with a light lemon vinaigrette.

Provence NashvilleThe pre-made options are also delicious. Provence offers sandwiches, like chicken salad, ham, or hummus with fresh veggies. Or pick up a salad with grilled chicken tuna on top. You can’t go wrong with their chopped kale, pesto pasta, or house-made red pepper hummus.

Provence also offers an assortment of tasty cookies (try the chocolate espresso!), flaky croissants (almond is our favorite), and colorful macarons. In another glass case, you’ll see decadent cakes in full and mini sizes, fruit tarts, truffles, and more. Each dessert is as beautiful as it is rich and flavorful.

Wash it all down with a drink from their coffee and tea menu. When you’re there, be sure to stop in neighboring BookMan BookWoman and Pangaea! Not in Hillsboro Village? You can also find Provence in the Downtown Library or on Vanderbilt’s Peabody Campus (Iris Cafe). See why Provence has been a Nashville favorite for 20 years and counting!
