bacon and spinach quiche with fruit and toast
If you or anyone you know works in the Cool Springs and Franklin vicinity, you’ve surely heard of The Puffy Muffin
! It’s a fan favorite for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and sweet treats. It’s quite a hike from central Nashville, but more than worth a visit if you’re heading out that way.
cheese omelette with biscuit and bacon
We visited for brunch and a little coffee pick-me-up. The Puffy Muffin’s cafe menu has all the basics you could want in a brunch menu. Eggs? They’ve got them every way your heart desires! Quiches, omelettes, benedicts, and more. Each dish is served with your choice of one side – potato casserole, home fries, cheese grits, fruit, baked apples, or one pancake.
We went with the quiche of the day (bacon, cheese and spinach), served in a flaky, buttery crust that is the perfect contrast to the cream, fluffy eggs. We also had the cheese omelette with a biscuit and side of bacon. Yum!
4th of July cake
The Puffy Muffin also boasts an impressive cake collection. To celebrate the 4th, we took home a specialty chocolate cake: rich chocolate layers of cake on the inside with vanilla frosting in between. It was so good, we couldn’t stop at one slice!
