Burger Up has been one of the 12 South hot spots since 2010. This burger joint prides itself in using locally sourced beef from Triple L Ranch in Franklin. And the rest of the menu is full of other locally sourced goods too, supporting sustainable practices all while getting the best, fresh ingredients.
First timers should check out the classic burger and fries – the Triple L Classic comes with mustard, tomato, onion, pickles, and cheddar. Their regular fries are thick cut, salty, and delicious, but we also love their sweet potato fries and the truffle fries. It’s too hard to choose, so we recommend everyone ordering a different side of french fries to share!
If you want to go the more creative burger route, try the Woodstock – a burger topped with Benton’s bacon, TN Sweetwater white cheddar cheese, and Jack Daniel’s maple ketchup. You can add Benton’s bacon, avocado, or even an extra burger patty to any burger for an extra charge.
Looking for a healthier option? We love their salmon “burger” – citrus salmon topped with crème fraîche, red onion, cucumber, and bibb lettuce. Or opt for the turkey burger, which comes with avocado, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomato.
And vegetarians, don’t fret! Their marathon burger is one of the best veggie burgers in town. The crispy quinoa and black bean burger hits the spot topped with lettuce, tomato, and cilantro lime crème fraîche. You can also top any of the Burger Up salads with salmon or the quinoa patty – we’re big fans of the kale salad with the quinoa burger on top.
Stop in during lunch to skip long wait times, or make it an after work happy hour visit for discounted cocktails and appetizers (mac and cheese bites, anyone?).
