We finally made our way to The Treehouse for supper, and we can’t stop talking about how delicious our meals were! Their farm to table set up brings fresh and in-season produce straight to your plate from their farm about 50 miles outside of town. The front room interior makes it feel like you’re sitting in someone’s living room as they cook for you in their open concept kitchen with farm fresh eats.
We’ve sampled the char-grilled broccoli topped with thinly sliced pickled stems, braised mushroom perogies with creme fraiche and herbs, and the flounder crudo topped with buttermilk and salty sunflower seeds. All great ways to start your meal!
For mains, we tried the delicious charred octopus with English pea puree and smoked trout roe. But our absolute favorite dish from the menu is the uni cacio e pepe, a savory and creamy noodle dish so good we would have it for dinner every night if we could! And we recommend ordering a second uni cacio e pepe for the table because you won’t want to share yours…
To top it off, the dessert is a must – if it’s your first time, order the outrageously good chocolate souffle. We’ve also devoured the buttermilk mouse, which comes with lemon granita and sunflower seed brittle.
If it’s anything like their regular dinner menu, we can’t wait to go back to try the late night eats. And if you want to make your visit extra special, book their actual treehouse table where you can sit up in the treetops with a party of 6 or more.
