Flyte Nashville

Caesar salad with soft boiled egg

Flyte World Dining & Wine is a member of Nashville Originals with a locally sourced menu and lengthy wine list. Flyte is situated in a bright yellow building in the Gulch area right across the street from Jackalope Brewery. Inside, you’ll find a warm and spacious interior that is perfectly suited for a date night or a business dinner.

The menu changes seasonally but always includes a wide variety of fish and meat options. We started our meal with one of the best Caesar salads we’ve had in a long time. We know what you’re thinking: it’s hard to do a bad Caesar. But it’s way harder to do such an amazing one! Flyte’s is a delightful blend of crisp and cool lettuce, creamy dressing, shaved parmesan, and a soft egg.

For the main course, we opted for the mahi mahi dish, a generous portion of fish served with golden nugget potatoes and swiss chard, all cooked in a flavorful brown butter sauce. We also ordered the Atlantic Scallops, which were served with jasmine rice, a red curry sauce, peanuts, and sauteed kale.

Although the entree options are not vegetarian friendly, the chef will gladly adapt any of them upon request. We also had the vegetarian version of the scallops dish, served with seasonal squash instead of fish, and it was delicious!

For dessert, we indulged in a dark chocolate pot de creme – a rich blend of chocolate cake, olive oil gelato, jam, and candied cocoa nibs. It was the perfect end to such an awesome meal.

There is a reason Flyte has been so successful on the Nashville restaurant scene for a decade and counting. For your next special occasion, treat yourself to a meal at Flyte!
