Noshville Nashville

Noshville has been one of our go-tos since our college days. While we’re sad the Midtown location closed, we’re willing to make the drive to Green Hills for our Noshville fix. Most importantly, they have breakfast all day. Need we say more? If you’re not convinced that you should check it out after those three words, you may want to reevaluate your food priorities! But, if breakfast isn’t your thing, Noshville is still a sure bet.

In that case, we recommend their matzah ball soup, egg salad sandwich, and grilled cheese – all tasty non-breakfast items. The grilled cheese is double stacked for extra cheesy goodness! And you must save room for their Big Fat Chocolate Cake. This thing is a chocolate monster! Order a slice, warmed and a la mode. It’s big enough for you to share with the entire table!

Now on to our main priority at Noshville: breakfast. Last time we visited, we ordered the lox platter, scrambled eggs, and a breakfast bowl. The salmon platter came with a bagel, cream cheese, tomato, onion, and cucumber, yum!

The scrambled eggs were fluffy and made even better by adding some avocado. All the egg dishes come with your choice of toast or bagel, and fruit, potato cakes, tomato slices, or oatmeal. We usually pick pumpernickle toast and tomato slices, but this time we chose the potato cakes – crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside with just the right amount of seasoning.

And the breakfast bowl – it always ends up on our table one way or another! Eggs cooked your way with your choice of cheese on top of potato cakes, bacon, corned beef, tomatoes, and jalapenos. We suggest asking for your eggs over easy and choosing muenster cheese.

Make the trek to this Nashville classic and you’ll see why it keeps bringing locals back time and time again!
