Looking for a great cup of coffee? After just one cup at Eighth & Roast, you’ll want a bag of their house roasted coffee beans to take home with you. The brick building is in the middle of a strip on 8th Avenue (also home to the tasty Love Peace & Pho) across from Zanie’s Comedy Club – you’ll almost miss it if you aren’t paying attention driving by!
The cozy space is filled with large wooden tables (made from Tennessee walnut on site) and lots of counter space, making it a perfect spot for cranking through your to do list (hello, free wifi!). Choose from their impressive craft roasted coffee selection for your caffeine boost. The coffee options are abundant – and don’t be afraid to ask questions about the roasts before you pick one to order. If you’ve already had your coffee fill for the day, there are plenty of iced and hot teas to choose from.
Hungry? Eighth & Roast also serves up some delicious eats. Start your day with a sausage or ham biscuit breakfast sandwich or the breakfast burrito (veggie and non-veggie options available). For something on the sweet side, choose from one of their fresh pastries – strawberry cardamom muffins, coffee cake, almond scones, cinnamon rolls, you name it!
On the go for lunch? Grab a pre-made sandwich or snack from the counter and be on your way (if you have a little spare time, they can heat it up for you behind the counter). Don’t just take our word for it – check out Eighth & Roast for your next coffee fix. You can also find them selling their house roasts at farmer’s markets around town during farmer’s market season. Happy sipping!
