Pfunky Griddle

Pancakes are always treat worth waking up early for on the weekend! And while you can definitely make them at home, they don’t get quite as golden, fluffy, or crispy on the outside in a pan as they do on a griddle. Hop in your car and get over to Pfunky Griddle!

Eighth and Roast Nashville

Eighth & Roast

Looking for a great cup of coffee? Look no further than Eighth & Roast! The cozy space is filled with large wooden tables and counter space that make it a perfect spot for cranking through your to do list (hello, free wifi!). The coffee options are abundant – don’t be afraid to ask questions about the roasts before you pick one to order! Hungry? Desano's Nashville

Desano Pizza Bakery

By now you know we’ve got a few favorite foods: bagels, breakfast sandwiches, all things dessert… But our very fave of the favorites? Pizza, duh! And Desano’s is on our list. We’ve been hitting up this pizza joint since the week it opened, and we keep coming back for more! The space is filled with large picnic-style tables that make this space great for big groups. The open wood fired pizza kitchen lets you watch the pizza-making action in real time, and the pizza chefs always put on a real show throwing their dough into the air. To top it all off, Desano’s is BYOB!

Family Wash Nashville

The Family Wash

The Family Wash is home to seriously good coffee, great food, and a stage consistently showcasing local tunes. The recently opened Main Street location offers more space (including a patio and a spot dedicated to Garage Coffee) but keeps its same original charm. To top it all off, Family Wash boasts an impressive breakfast menu served all day. You’ll find classics like steel cut oatmeal and granola, along with heavier egg dishes that come with a number of gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Little Donkey Nashville

Little Donkey

Welcome to Nashville, Little Donkey! The restaurant atmosphere is fun and lively with an open kitchen and friendly servers. The food comes out fast even when it’s crowded. Order at the front counter and take your number card to the table of your choosing. Of the great tequila drinks we sampled (margs, hello!), the Tequila Mockingbird was the star. It was a refreshing balance of pineapple, cardamom, agave, lime juice, and a touch of serrano.

Proper Bagel Nashville

Proper Bagel

Proper Bagel has been a hit since the day it opened. If you’ve driven by the new Belmont Blvd hot spot, you have probably seen the lines out the door. But don’t be deterred – it is worth the wait! Inside, you’ll be greeted by a counter full of fresh fish, cream cheeses, and salads. If it’s your first visit, definitely order a bagel – whether you pair it with cream cheese, flavored butter, or an egg sandwich option, the bagels are seriously impressive.

I Love Juice Bar Germantown Nashville

I Love Juice Bar

It’s no secret – everyone is into juicing these days! Whether you believe the health hype or not, one things for sure: I Love Juice Bar’s freshly pressed juices and icy cold smoothies taste amazing. Our favorite of I Love Juice Bar’s six Nashville locations is in Germantown, in the same bright green building as Cochon Butcher and soon to be home to Little Donkey. If you’re new to the juice world, the friendly staff can help guide you through the many juice and non-juice options.

The Cupcake Collection Nashville

The Cupcake Collection

The Cupcake Collection’s Germantown location has got you covered when you need a sugar fix! Whenever we drive by, we can hear the cupcakes calling our names from inside the cute, navy brick storefront. Owner Mignon Francois has said, “Our cupcakes taste homemade because they are homemade.” That quote sums up The Cupcake Collection’s philosophy and products. There’s a reason they have a cult-like following – all of their cupcakes are fresh-out-of-the-oven delicious.
