Bye 2015, Hello 2016!

2015 has been a big year for us here at In The Middle! We posted our first blog post in January, and now we’ve racked up over 100 posts about so many Nashville favorites. We ate our way through Nashville Farmer’s Market finds, fancy 12+ course eats, sweet treats galore, and so much more. We sipped on cocktails, craft beer, and bottles of wine. We perused rows of books, prints, art, and enjoyed the great Tennessee outdoors. And we want to do even more in 2016!

Here are the resolutions that will make 2016 our best year yet in Music City:

  1. Support even more local businesses. We love trying out new stores around town, from boutiques to bakeries to you name it. In 2016, we will make a conscious effort to support more local businesses to give back to the Nashville community. In making this a priority, we’ll bring you new local favorites that you too can enjoy!
  2. Sweat more often. We loved our feature on GetFit615‘s Kate Moore, who inspires everyone around her to get out and get active every day! We’ve adopted her motto, so you’ll see us adventuring outdoors more often and trying new fitness classes around town. Whether it’s a hike at Radnor, a walk to our favorite coffee shop, or a kick butt bootcamp, 2016 will be the year of more sweat.
  3. Take advantage of Music City. What better place to enjoy music than Music City? Our goal is to go to at least one show per month in 2016, and with that we’ll bring you a new feature – Music Mondays! There are so many great venues and local artists in Nashville – not to mention tours that come through town. With Music Mondays, we’ll bring you our favorite spots to hear all that Music City has to offer.

We hope you have enjoyed reading along as we explore Nashville, and we can’t wait to bring you even more great finds this coming year. Cheers to a great 2015 and an even better 2016!
