Nashville Farmers’ Market Series: Village Bakery and Provisions

Village Bakery and Provisions

Grilled brie and apple sandwich with side of okra

Village Bakery and Provisions is on our can’t-miss list of lunch spots in the Nashville Farmers’ Market. Whether you’re meeting for lunch with coworkers or picking up a quick bite to go, this sandwich shop and bakery combo has what you need for a delicious lunch.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, Village Bakery offers freshly baked bread and pastries alongside a small but wide-ranging menu of sandwiches. Order your choice of sandwich with a side from their daily specials for the perfect meal.

Village Bakery and ProvisionsWe recommend the grilled brie sandwich filled with slices of peaches or apples depending on the season. It comes piping hot with a crunchy, buttery exterior and a creamy brie filling. We paired it with a side of halved okra served hot with a salt crust.

village 1Round out your lunch with a treat from their dessert selections. Meringues, tarts, cookies, anything you can imagine – they’re freshly baked that day and ready for your enjoyment. One of our favorite options is their seasonal butternut squash macaroon. We never thought butternut squash would make for a yummy cookie, but it does!
