Village Bakery and Provisions is on our can’t-miss list of lunch spots in the Nashville Farmers’ Market. Whether you’re meeting for lunch with coworkers or picking up a quick bite to go, this sandwich shop and bakery combo has what you need for a delicious lunch.
The weekend just isn’t the weekend without brunch – and Mack & Kate’s is a great place to get your fill. This Franklin mainstay is located in an unassuming strip of shopping and apartments, but don’t be fooled! It offers a tasty menu of brunch fare and a cozy, comfortable ambiance to match.
Baked goods, coffee, brunch, and lunch – what more could you ask for? Dozen Bakery has all of those things and more. Each day, the talented bakers at Dozen create a tempting assortment of hot out of the oven cookies, scones, muffins, croissants, pies, and breads. The options are endless!
5th & Taylor is one of Nashville’s newest editions to the restaurant scene, and it has quickly jumped to the top of our list of favorites. The large, open kitchen keeps the hits coming. The menu changes regularly, but you really can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. Don’t forget to save room for the Elvis moon pie!
One of our favorite spots to roam the aisles for our next good read is BookManBookWoman in Hillsboro Village. The stored first put down roots in 1995 and has been a neighborhood staple ever since. BookManBookWoman is packed from floor to ceiling with titles that cover a wide range of interests. You’ll find current bestsellers, fiction classics, non-fiction history books and biographies, children’s books, cookbooks, and more.

With three locations in Nashville, RB is a neighborhood hotspot for folks in Germantown, Woodbine, and Madison. Like any good coffee shop, RB serves up an excellent cup of coffee. What makes this coffee shop standout above the rest? Their crepes!
Chances are you’ve eaten a Christie Cookie Co treat from one of their cute holiday or university themed tins. But we’re willing to bet you haven’t had one of their cookies right out of the oven in their bakery’s storefront in Germantown. If you like cookies (let’s be real, who doesn’t like cookies?!), Christie Cookie Co is a real treat!
It’s no secret that we love a good beer, so it should come as no surprise that we are regular visitors to Craft Brewed for a pint (or three). Craft Brewed offers an impressive variety of craft beers both bottled and on tap. And if you’re in the market for something other than just beer, check out the adjacent high gravity beer, wine, and liquor store for a variety of beer and non-beer libations.
