Looking for a brunch that’s a step above your usual egg and cheese breakfast sandwich? Sinema is the answer! As soon as you step through the front door, you’re transported into another era. Built within an old movie theater, Sinema pays homage to the glory days of Old Hollywood with its decor.

The entry hall has vaulted ceilings, gilded walls, and a sweeping staircase. The first dining area has booths and tables situated under the gaze of Hollywood greats like Elizabeth Taylor and Clark Gable. The second dining room features large leather booths and a view of the kitchen where they are cooking up some seriously tasty eats.

We sampled their croque madame, chicken and waffles, and the “you are my sunshine” egg dish. The croque madame came out stacked on end like a beautiful sculpture of cheese and toasty bread complimented by a side of mixed greens. The two year white cheddar had oozed out the sides of the bread onto the griddle to make a heavenly cheese halo around each triangle of sandwich.

The chicken and waffles isn’t your typical version of the Southern favorite. Sinema coats their chicken in corn flakes to create and even crunchier bite. Each bite is the perfect balance of sweet, salty, soft, and crunchy. The “you are my sunshine” dish was another crowd pleaser – three sunny side up eggs served with artichoke, blistered tomatoes, and zucchini, drizzled with pesto and plated with a side of breakfast potatoes. It made for a light but filling brunch.

We can’t forget to mention that they offer bubble service. Yes, you read that right! A table-side make-your-own mimosa bar stocked with orange juice and homemade mixers to create the mimosa of your dreams. Talk about stepping up your brunch game!

Next time you’re looking for an out of the ordinary brunch experience, make a reservation at Sinema – you’ll be glad you did.
