The Confeastador is a Nashville food truck for your must try list. It’s more than a kitchen on wheels – in fact, this tasty spot would thrive as a stand alone restaurant in any neighborhood around town. Their menu may be small, but it packs big taste.
The avocado taco is spot on – panko-crusted fried avocado, crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They the top avocado tastiness with red cabbage, pickled onions, cilantro crema, cotija, and wrap it in two corn tortillas.
The newest addition to the menu is another winner – the beer battered fish tacos. Each fish taco has two large pieces of beer-battered tilapia topped with red cabbage, arugula, chili pepper cream, and papaya-mango-habanero salsa. This one is seriously flavorful, rich, and delicious.
We haven’t tried the pollo or brisket tacos yet, but if the avocado and fish tacos are any indication, they’re worth another visit to the Confeastador for a taste.
Follow the truck around town or book the Confeastador for your next event. In the summer months, you’ll find the Confeastador at Movies in the Park, bi-weekly Summer of Street Food on Deaderick Street downtown, Sevier Park Sunday Funday, or posted outside of Craft Brewed for Taco Tuesdays.
Be sure to check the website to find out where you can go to get your taco fix!
