Marche Artisan Foods: Breakfast & Brunch

Marche Artisan Foods is one of our fave places for brunch in East Nashville. Sister restaurant of Margot Cafe, this European style eatery sits on the corner of Main Street and Woodland. The beautiful dining space has floor to ceiling windows for maximum sunshine during your mid-morning meal.

marche 2Marche’s breakfast and brunch menus have a variety of pastries, egg dishes, and classic breakfast items. Start with the bread basket and enjoy freshly baked bread with tasty butters, nutella, and jams. And definitely try their pastries. We love their lemon poppy seed scones and almond croissants -perfect for sharing with the table.

For a savory choice, the quiche of the day features seasonal vegetables and a buttery, flaky crust so good you will clean your plate. But if the pastries to start didn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, try the banana and Nutella crepe.

Brunch isn’t really brunch without libations, so don’t miss out on their regularly changing beverage menu. We recommend the blood orange mimosa or the cucumber sake Bloody Mary, both refreshing and light.

Marche also sells many local treats, including chocolate from Olive & Sinclair, jam from the Nashville Jam Company, and Falls Mill grits. After brunch, stop by the pastry counter to take home a box of croissants or a decadent cake made in house.

marche 3This East Nashville spot is a Nashville favorite, so be prepared for long waits on busy weekends. We recommend making an early trip for breakfast during the week – no wait but all of the deliciousness!
