As our favorite month of the year – National Grilled Cheese Month – comes to a close, we have two words for you: cheesy goodness. That’s what The Grilled Cheeserie is all about. It’s a local favorite, winning Nashville Scene’s Best Food Truck title three years in a row. It was even featured on the popular Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives – and for good reason! The Grilled Cheeserie is seriously delicious.
The Grilled Cheeserie uses local cheeses, produce, and more to create grilled cheese masterpieces. Try the Melt Of The Moment, an always tasty and adventurous twist on the classic grilled cheese. This month they rotated through four special melts in the series titled Chef de Grilled Cheese, featuring local chefs from Nashville hot spots.
Sean Brock of Husk, Phillip Krajeck of Rolf and Daughters, Josh Habinger of Pinewood Social, and Deb Paquette of Etch have each contributed their special talents to create truly impressive melts in honor of National Grilled Cheese Month.
And this amazing food truck doesn’t stop at cheesy goodness. They serve tomato soup, crispy tater tots (topped with cheese, of course), and creative sweet treats that are impressive enough to warrant a visit alone. Think: thin mint chocolate pudding cake, spiced pumpkin brûlée, s’mores pudding cups… yum!
Check the website or follow them on Twitter to keep track of where you can find the truck each week. They rotate through spots in Nashville, Franklin, and Brentwood, and can be found at many local events throughout the year, so rest assured you will have access to #cheesygoodness each week. Don’t be alarmed by the inevitable line, The Grilled Cheeserie is absolutely worth the wait.
