Nashville Farmers’ Market Series: Bella Nashville Pizza

Special of the Day

Special of the Day

To continue our Nashville Farmers’ Market series, we’d like to introduce you to Bella Nashville Pizza. This pizzeria is tucked in a side hall across from Nooley’s Cajun Food and is the sister restaurant to Bella Nashville Bakery in East Nashville (more on Bella Bakery later!).

Their pizza… We’re at a loss for words! There’s no way we can describe how delicious it is – you need to try it yourself to understand. We give Bella Nashville our vote for some of the best pizza in town.

Bella Nashville offers five pizza options plus a special of the day. The pizza runs the gamut from the classic Margherita to the adventurous Hummus. Each pizza is available on regular or whole wheat crust, and you can customize your choice by adding toppings such as pickled habanero peppers, farm fresh eggs, and turnip greens.

Amaro Scuro

Amaro Scuro

For our lunch picks, we chose the Amaro Scuro (mozzarella, red sauce, and turnip greens) and the daily special (pepperoni, mozzarella, and basil) – both with a crispy baked egg on top.

The crust was perfectly crunchy on the bottom and chewy on the top. And the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ate every last bite!

The pizza is prepared right in front of you in an open kitchen, so grab a seat at the bar for a front row seat and prepare to be amazed. Bella Nashville is closed on Mondays, but you can stop by any other day of week to try it out!
