We recently joined ClassPass (more on that later), which has given us the opportunity to try lots of studios and classes around Nashville. As we continue to explore, we’ll bring you our favorite spots to break a sweat with our monthly #FitnessFriday posts!
Our first #FitnessFriday features one of our favorite barre studios in Nashville – The Dailey Method. Located on Elliston place close to Vanderbilt’s campus, The Daily Method is a small studio offering Dailey Barre (1 hour) and Dailey Express (45 minutes) classes that are welcoming to the novice and still challenging to the fitness guru.
Barre combines dance, yoga, kinesiology, Pilates, and more to give you a full-body workout that will strengthen and tone. Never done any of those exercises before? Don’t worry – the instructors help you modify exercises and explain each step as you go! And the classes are small, which means you get plenty of individual attention.
The staff at The Dailey Method are super friendly, and the studio is small and pristine. Check in at the front desk and take a peak at their barre merchandise (you’ll want those sticky socks, trust us!). Drop your shoes in the cubby up front, then leave your bag in one of the lockers in the back. They also have showers for when you’re headed back to work or on the go.
Classes are offered as early as 6 a.m. to as late as 6:45 p.m., so you’ll be sure to find one that fits your busy schedule. Try the New Client Special – $100 for 30 days of unlimited classes – and start working towards those fitness goals!
